How does it work as a Seller?

1. Register

Register as a seller. If you are already registered as a user, upgrade your account to become a seller and set up your store

2. List Products

List your products, set your shipping and payment detail and drive traffic to your store by sharing your products and store with your social networks

3. Accept Orders

Accept orders and payments online. You will be notified by email of every sale. Go to your dashboard to see order details and fulfill your order.

4. Review Feedback

After fulfilling the order, encourage your customers to leave a review to boost your profile. Review feedback and connect with your customers.

How to register as a Seller?

To register an account, please click here

  1. Locate “Register” section
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Enter your preferred password
  4. Select “I am a seller”
  5. Click on “Register” button

What are the fees for selling online?

There are no fees for selling with SingaporeV2.com

No membership fee, No per listing fee, No marketplace commission fee.

Important note:

Do note that all transactions are processed via Paypal and as with all seller accounts with Paypal, you will be charged a transaction fee (deducted from the purchase price by Paypal). These fees are charged by Paypal for handling the payment transaction and SingaporeV2.com does not gain from this.

The current Paypal charges are as follows;

Selling is 3.9% + $0.50 SGD per sale, or lower.

You can qualify for discounted merchant rates if your sales volume qualifies.

Meaning, the more you sell, the less you pay per transaction.

How to set store wide shipping details?

To set store wide shipping details, please click here

  1. Login to your seller dashboard
  2. Locate Seller Dashboard → Settings → Shipping
  3. Enter store wide shipping details here

Important: You must select “Enable Shipping Functionality” in order to enable shipping calculation

 

Important: You must “Add Location” for Singapore and the shipping fee in order to sell to Singapore.

 

Once done, click “Save Settings” and you are done with store wide shipping.

Example of Store Wide Shipping:

Flat Rate Shipping for all products within Singapore = $5

Checkout Price: $15 = Product A $10 + Shipping Fee $5

Checkout Price: $20 = Product A $10 + Product B $5 + Shipping Fee $5

If you wish to offer Free Shipping above $X, you can to setup “Coupon” for customers to use during checkout.

How to list a product for sale?

To list a product for sale, click here

  1. Login to your seller dashboard
  2. Locate Dashboard  → Products  → Add new product
  3. Enter your product details and upload product picture
  4. Select “Create product” to provide in depth product details
  5. Once done, product listing will be routed to Admin for review
  6. Once approved, listing will appear on marketplace
  7. You will be notified via email upon approval

Important: After approved, it may take up to 15 mins for product details to be propagated to all parts of the website. For most sellers, approvals are needed only for preliminary product listings. Once you are validated by our admin, approval for future product listings will not be required. However, Singapore V2 reserves the right to suspend / delete all inappropriate content and listings, when necessary.

How to set payment details?

To set payment details to receive payment, please click here

  1. Login to your seller dashboard
  2. Locate Dashboard  → Settings  → Payment
  3. Important: Enter your accurate Paypal email address
  4. Click on “Update Settings” button
  5. Once an order is placed and paid, payment will be made to your Paypal account.

How to process and accept order?

To process and accept orders, please click here

  1. Login to seller dashboard
  2. Locate “Orders” section, click to enter
  3. Review order details by clicking into order number
  4. Prepare product for shipping and provide shipment tracking
  5. Locate “Tracking Number” to enter parcel tracking details
  6. Once done, click “Add Tracking Details”
  7. An email will be sent to the customer with the tracking details
  8. Once package shipped, change “Order Status” to “Completed”

Important: It is always recommended to use a shipping method with tracking ability. This allows customers to know the current location / status of the order and also safeguard the seller in the event of a dispute.

 

How to change my seller account password?

To change your seller account password, please click here

  1. Login to seller dashboard
  2. Locate “Edit Account” section and click to enter
  3. Enter “Edit Account Details” section to change your password.
  4. Once done, select “Save Changes”

 

 

 

Unable to find a proper product category for my product?

To locate a product category, its recommended that you check our full store directory here.

If you are unable to locate a product category for your product, contact us here and we will assist you along.

 

How to issue a refund to customers?

You can issue a full refund or partial refund up to 180 days after you receive a payment. The total refund amount is taken from your PayPal balance. Therefore, if you don’t have enough funds in your PayPal balance, you won’t be able to issue a refund. For more information, check paypal website here.

Here’s how to refund a payment to your buyer:

  1. Log in to your PayPal account
  2. Click Activity near the top of the page.
  3. Find and click on the transaction you want to refund.
  4. Click Refund this payment.
  5. Enter the refund amount and then click Continue.
  6. Confirm the refund details and click Issue Refund.
  7. Once done, return to your seller dashboard
  8. Select order number, amended order status to “Refunded

What products can I list online?

We believe in allowing the widest possible range of products our sellers can provide. To find the appropriate product category, check out our full store directory here. If you are still unable to locate a proper category for your product, feel free to contact us via our contact us page here and we shall assist you from there.

Note: As with all things in life, there must be a certain amount of moderation in place. Some products simply cannot be listed and sellers are advised to read the following prohibited and restricted items page for more details.

How to offer free shipping for my products?

Want to offer free shipping? Excellent! Studies had shown that products with free shipping enjoy higher sales conversion rate.

There are in fact a few ways for sellers to offer free shipping on our platform through the following;

a. Store Wide – Free Shipping

b. Product Based – Free Shipping

c. Minimum Purchase Amount – Free Shipping

d. Promotional – Free Shipping

Shipping is a critical aspect of selling online and each online seller have different method and preference on offering their product shipping. With the above few methods, we should be able to cover most types of shipping options. Check out the individual tutorials for each method.

Want to sell and ship your products worldwide? You are in the right place!

Our unique platform allows sellers to not only sell domestically in Singapore, you can also sell internationally by indicating the countries that you are willing to sell to and the shipping fee for each country.
